Warehouse Associate

🏗️ Warehouse Associate – Country Paint & Hardware

Location: North Branford, CT
Employment Type: Full-Time or Part-Time

We’re Not Just Hiring Muscle—We’re Recruiting a Mission-Driven Operator.

Are you someone who sees every mess as an opportunity for order?
Do you thrive in environments where precision, speed, and responsibility matter?
Are you looking for more than just a job—you want a challenge, a team, and a place where your efforts make a visible difference?

If you answered yes, this is your shot.

At Country Paint & Hardware, we've served our community with integrity and grit for over 48 years. We're not looking for average, we’re building a team of disciplined, growth-minded individuals who take ownership of their results and pride in their work. This warehouse associate position is not for someone looking to coast. We expect initiative, urgency, and excellence.

🧭 Your Mission (Should You Choose to Accept It):

Load and unload incoming and outgoing merchandise with focus and care

Accurately fulfill customer vehicle pickups and off-site deliveries

Maintain a clean, safe, and highly organized warehouse

Monitor and maintain warehouse tools and equipment

Ensuring stock levels and shelf presentations are accurate

Identify inefficiencies and step up with solutions

Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and reach pickers (training available)

Participate in seasonal resets, store prep, and general improvements

Contribute to a positive, team-first environment where “that’s not my job” doesn’t exist

🧱 What We Expect from You:

Strong physical ability (lift/move up to 100 lbs. safely)

Clean driving record and ability to legally operate delivery vehicles

Basic tech skills and ability to learn new systems fast

Forklift/pallet jack experience preferred, but not required

Reliable, punctual, and committed to personal and professional growth

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Pride in doing things right, with attention to detail

A mindset of responsibility, not blame—if something goes wrong, you fix it

⚠️ This Role Is NOT for You If:

You need constant supervision to stay productive

You don’t take pride in physical work

You can’t handle a fast-paced environment

You point fingers instead of solving problems

You think “good enough” is good enough

🎯 WHAT YOU GET

We invest in people who invest in us. You’ll enjoy:

💵 Competitive pay: (based on experience)

🕒 Full time, flexible day shifts (4, 8, or 10-hour options)

💡 On-the-job learning and growth opportunities

🛒 Generous employee discount

❤️ Medical, dental, long- and short-term disability insurance

⏳ Paid time off

💸 IRA with company match

🚪 Work-life balance: We close at 6PM (and 4PM on Sundays)

🎥 REQUIRED: ONE-WAY VIDEO INTERVIEW

We don’t hire off resumes—we hire real people.
To be considered, you must submit a one-way video interview answering the following:

  1. From what you know about our company, why do you think you'd be a good fit for this job?

  2. What does “excellence” mean to you in customer service, and how do you deliver it every day?

  3. Tell us about a time you went above and beyond for a customer or team member.

(Please email your video along with your resume to morr@countrypaint.com)

🏁 Ready to Step Up?

This isn’t just a warehouse job—it’s a chance to join a team that plays to win. If you're driven, reliable, and ready to make an impact, we want to hear from you.
