Floor Associate

North Branford, CT | Full-Time

Enjoy helping customers and keeping things organized? Join Country Paint & Hardware as a Floor Associate. You’ll help neighbors find what they need, keep merchandise ready to shop, and work with teammates to care for a store that has served North Branford since 1977.

What You’ll Do

  • Welcome customers, listen to their questions, and guide them to suitable products.
  • Walk customers to the merchandise they need and involve a knowledgeable teammate when needed.
  • Learn our inventory so you can offer useful advice and help solve everyday project problems.
  • Stock shelves, organize displays, and keep the sales floor clean and ready for customers.
  • Notice tasks that need attention and take initiative within store procedures.
  • Help teammates and manage changing priorities during busy periods.
  • Stay active and on your feet throughout shifts, including lifting merchandise weighing up to 50 pounds as needed.

  • The ability to meet the role’s physical requirements, including lifting up to 50 pounds.

Retail or customer service experience is helpful. We also welcome applicants who bring a strong work ethic and an interest in learning.
